Things continue to move along without too many bumps in the road. Since my birthday, life has just been moving real fast. I’m really trying to live my life and appreciate it everyday. I have been feeling a bit sad because I haven’t been on a vacation in forever. I believe the last time I went out of town was to Grandpa Bob’s at Thanksgiving in 2007. That’s been a long time. I would love to return to visit him, but money is an issue plus school is still in session. I’m almost finished with the summer semester and I will begin again in mid-August…that gives me a little time to maybe head somewhere close and cheap. Hmm? I guess while I was living on the west coast vacation weren’t necessary because the entire state of California was an unexplored vacation spot. I miss the beach. I believe Gulf Shores Alabama is the closest beach to Missouri, but I’m not too hip on the idea of heading to Alabama –no offense.
School is going real well. I have been taking a real intense women’s studies class this semester and I LOVE IT. I hope I’ll be able to take another class with this professsor before I am finished. That may be a challenge since I only need 19 more credit hours to move onto UMSL’s social work program. WOHOO ~
The family is doing very well. Sophia had her sixth birthday at Chuck E. Cheeses last week- OMG she had a blast!! I had a blast also, they have adult ski ball and pop-a-shot. I was in heaven. Yea, Yea I don’t care if it’s a kid’s place…I paid my tokens and there are not rules to how many times you can play!!!Damnit The boys are doing well. For some reason or another Chris and Steve decided to allow Alex and Jake to play football and now I am a nervous wreck. They just seem so small—especially Jake. I’m sure they’ll be okay though. Mom and Dad continue to be the greatest parents ever and they are doing very well.
