Subscribe to “Lungs for Mandy” updates!
This website has a special feature installed called RSS and you may ask yourself now ”RSS? What’s that?” Basically what it means is that the content gets delivered to you as apposed to you going to it. Right now you are very likely visting lungsformandy.com every day to see if there’s a new post… but there is a way now, via RSS feeds, where you will be informed directly on your PC whether there’s something new or not. I will show you in a few steps how to set that up.
PS: To view any picture bigger, simply click it– it will open in a new window.
FOR WINDOWS XP AND VISTA USERS
- First you have to be sure that Internet Explorer 7 is installed on your PC. Internet Explorer 7 looks just like the picture below and has the features that are circled… the favorites on the left and the search box on the right. If you do not have the latest version of Internet Explorer, you can contact me and I will send you to necessary information on how to upgrade (at no charge).

Assuming you have Internet Explorer 7, click the feed button (red icon) between the HOUSE and PRINT icon. It’s right below the search bar.
- This will bring you to a new page. On that page basically the entire design is gone and you just see all of the website posts. Towards the top, in a yellow box, there is a link reading “Subscribe to this feed” - click it.
- Once you clicked the link, hit subscribe on the pop-up window.
- Great! Now you are subscribed. Now your Internet Explorer will let you know everytime there is a new post. How do you check? Easy… click the star and then click the feeds. If Lungs for Mandy is in bold, there have been new posts since your last visit. You can hover your mouse over Lungs for Mandy and it will display how many new posts and when they were posted. By the way, you can check for new posts on ANY website that you may be on currently. This feature becomes extremely useful when you have about 10 websites you check regulary.

Any pictures you may have you can send to webmaster at lungsformandy.com. Include a picture title, brief description, and we’ll get it added as soon as possible.
